Port Townsend Waterfront Pilots Cottage is nearly sitting on the dock of the bay. A miniature islet, casual, comfortable and approachable like saltwater, softly textured sand dunes and sea glass.
While the crisp, sea captain/boat-builder designed seashell of a cottage doesn’t move, you’d swear you can feel the pull of the tide when you open the front door.
Guests can see straight through to the inlet and immediately know why they’re here. We see our visitors faces light up as quickly as they step into the past, The impact of how easily The Pilots Cottage invokes relaxation in a remote free environment. Then wake up with the sparkling blue water, the scent of salted, pure air; and express, “exactly what we wanted!”

Port Townsends Pilot’s Cottage is keeping a close watch over the landfalls and voyages of both small craft and world class yachts, navigating in their stories from harbor to ocean.
Our waterfront cottage is graced with idyllic character and comfort. The imaginatively decorated dwelling is meticulously maintained and furnished with Stearns and Foster mattresses, comfortable Italian seating and custom built in pieces. This favorite vacation rental has become many guests annual “Summer place”, packed with recess in mind and necessities alike. If you’re accustomed to room service or luxurious pampering, then our character cottage may be too charming for you.
$255 Night plus state tax – 4 Night Sets of dates- Double Occupancy. Short Notice mid week discount occasionally possible, please inquire pre Summer
